16 % Maratha's in Maharashtra

How 16 % reservation is not an advantage to MARATHAS in Maharashtra

Maratha’s at  present occupied more than 16 % government jobs in Maharashtra,there are more than 16 % MBBS doctors belongs to Maratha caste.Maratha is a caste in Maharashtra which are more than 16 % of total Maharashtra population.They are demanding reservation in Government Jobs and in education.If we apply basic mathematics then when a caste get 16 % reservation will be applying through that 16 % window and not from available 50 % population then how this reservation will benefit affluent class from Maratha’s.Actually Maratha's will get 8 % reservation out of 100 % population which is not an advantage.
