Grievance Description
The consumer forums established in the country to address consumer complaints.They are in place to encourage consumers to lodge complaints .I lodged consumer complaint at CHANDRAPUR DISTRICT CONSUMER FORUM vide registration number CC/18/148.On 27 September 2018 the case came for ADMISSION HEARING .The PRESIDENT of the Chandrapur district consumer forum not admitted the case and disposed it off on ground that the HARASSMENT DURATION by MSEDCL employee was far less that was 72 hrs and as per his view the case was not fit under harassment ,the duration of harassment should be more.How we can differentiate HARASSMENT.If any employee fails to do his duty properly and due to such negligence if customer suffers then is this not a harassment case.Please look into this case and order to admit it.What is wrong in sending notice to MSEDCL Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. As per complaint for negligence due to their employee causing harassment.After submission of reply by MSEDCL the case can proceed accordingly.The consumer Forums should not discourage consumer on false ground.Billing unit 2178 Warora subdivision

Following serious irregularities noticed during this case are 1. I received the case was on board/hearing notice SMS on 27/09/2018 at 7 am on my mobile for same day 1030 hearing at Chandrapur.I am living at Warora which is situated at 46 Km away from Chandrapur. 2.No order copy provided to me nor any details loaded on CONFONET. 3.Actual hearing attended by 2 members out of 3. 4.Though timing given 1030 but hearing took place at 1230 5.President during hearing informed me that MSEDCL not work in night and asked me whether I possess inverter.The other member not participated in hearing.It lasted for 2 minutes.
