In today's digital world, mobile phones, tablets, computers, and artificial intelligence have become part of everyday life. Students complete assignments online, communicate through messaging applications, and often depend on keyboards rather than pens. While technology has transformed education positively, one important skill is slowly losing its place among young students: handwriting.
Handwriting is much more than writing words on paper. It reflects patience, discipline, personality, and thought process. A neat and readable handwriting creates a positive impression and demonstrates attention to detail. Just as our speech reveals our character, our handwriting often reflects our habits and mindset.
Many people argue that handwritten documents are becoming irrelevant because most official work is now performed digitally. This may be true to some extent. However, there are many situations where handwriting remains irreplaceable.

आज का युग डिजिटल युग है। मोबाइल, कंप्यूटर, टैबलेट और कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (AI) ने शिक्षा की पद्धति को बदल दिया है। अधिकांश विद्यार्थी टाइपिंग को प्राथमिकता देते हैं। लेकिन इसी परिवर्तन के बीच एक महत्वपूर्ण कला धीरे-धीरे पीछे छूटती जा रही है, और वह है हस्तलेखन।
हस्तलेखन केवल शब्दों को कागज पर लिखना नहीं है। यह व्यक्ति के धैर्य, अनुशासन, व्यक्तित्व और सोच का प्रतिबिंब होता है। सुंदर और स्पष्ट लिखावट पढ़ने वाले पर सकारात्मक प्रभाव डालती है। जिस प्रकार हमारी वाणी हमारी पहचान बनाती है, उसी प्रकार हमारी लिखावट भी हमारी पहचान बन सकती है।

आज भले ही बहुत कम विद्यार्थी हस्तलेखन के महत्व को स्वीकार करें, लेकिन यह जीवनभर उपयोगी रहने वाला कौशल है। अच्छा हस्तलेखन सफलता की गारंटी नहीं देता, परंतु यह अनुशासन, धैर्य और प्रभावी संवाद की आदत अवश्य विकसित करता है।
अभिभावकों और शिक्षकों को चाहिए कि वे बच्चों को प्रतिदिन कुछ समय हस्तलेखन अभ्यास, डायरी लेखन, कविता लेखन और नोट्स बनाने के लिए प्रेरित करें।
